Easter Baking with Tenderflake

This Easter we are hosting friends and family for a brunch and Easter Egg Hunt. I will be using versatile Tenderflake products so that I can create snappy appetizers, scrumptious dinners and decadent desserts. The girls and I decided to channel our love of chocolate, into our brunch dessert and create chocolate tarts.

We also have a slight addiction to cheesecake and wanted to give our tarts a creamy texture similar to a cheesecake.

In total it took 20 minutes of prep time to create the filling and drizzle. There was 60 minutes of baking time at 375 degrees. This recipe made 12 large tarts and 18 mini tarts.

Naked Tarts!

Triple Chocolate Tarts Filling Ingredients:
1     pkg (250 g each) chocolate cream cheese
3/4  can (300 mL) Eagle Brand Chocolate Flavoured Sauce
2     eggs
1/6  cup (75 mL) Flour
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract

1/4   can Eagle Brand Chocolate Flavoured Sauce

1.  Preheat oven to 375°F

2.  Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand chocolate flavoured sauce until smooth. Add eggs, flour and vanilla; mix well. Pour into Tenderflake tart shells.

3.  Bake in preheated oven 55 to 60 minutes. Tart filling will be firm.

4. Once cooled drizzle remainder of the Eagle Brand Chocolate Flavoured Sauce over the tarts and garnish with Easter treats.

The girls loved ‘dressing’ the tarts once they were cool.

They also enjoy setting my shots for me and I think the was the best food shot of the day.
