Giving Back with Kinder Mini Eggs

The Joy of Giving

De-cluttering our house in time for Christmas is a tradition in our home. Moving the plastic house to put up the tree, hiding toys in the basement just to fill up the room with new toys. This year we are taking a different approach to this holiday season. The girls are old enough now to understand that some children don’t have as much as they do. We decided to donate our loved, yet still in good shape, toys to the Salvation Army. There was one exception, no stuffies could leave this house. AndiePandie has a issue with letting even one of stuffie find a new home. We started with Polly Pocket sets and Duplpo, both are great toys but they have grown out of them. As the girls were working, I moved onto the bathroom. I literally had hundreds of hotel sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body creams and mouthwash. I first took a huge shopping bag into my school for my staff and students to use, then took the remainder to a women’s shelter in our neighbour hood. It felt good to give but it also felt good to clean stuff out of the house. Having the space to play, read, even lounge had made a big difference in our little home.

Our second shipment from the Kinder Canada family is hidden in our carriage house because last time a box arrived, the entire box was gone in 24 hrs. So I have no picture of my family with the mini eggs….but you can get one of 7500 free coupons for Canadians starting tomorrow at noon! Kinder Canada is giving back in a “mini” way as well in a big way. To kick off the sharing, our friends at KINDER® Canada will be giving away 7,500 coupons to enjoy their delicious Kinder® Mini Eggs, for free! This giveaway will begin on November 26th and will last for 10 weekdays, giving out 750 coupons each day at 12pm ET. This is exclusive for KINDER®’s Facebook community and is celebrating KINDER®’s ‘A Joy To Share‘ program in support of Children’s Miracle Network of Canada!7,500 Kinder Mini Eggs on through their Facebook page starting tomorrow. Please take a moment to watched the Martin Family story. Share it with your friends and family to help encourage donations to the Children’s Miracle Network. For every share of the video, Kinder will donate $1 to the Children’s Miracle Network, up to $5,000.

I have to thank Kinder Canada for making me reflect on the joy of sharing and in turn sharing this joy with my children. I promise I will share the Kinder Mini Eggs….eventually 🙂
