Our family cottage is a three season property. Each year we build, re-build or add on to the existing property. This year we are looking at a new Bowrider, I would prefer a pontoon to carry the kids/friends/pets/family members from the dock to the cottage. However, the consensus seems to be leaning toward having a faster boat to pull the kids around the lake.
This year, the Outdoor & Adventure Travel Show promises to bring interesting guest speakers, the best paddling, camping and pedalling gear and up the most to date adventure travel information to Ottawa. The show takes place this weekend, March 21st & March 22nd at the EY Centre on Uplands Drive.
I personally love the pool demos. The kids and I love to kayak around our quiet bay, but when cottage guests are feeling more adventurous we paddle around Sand Lake. We constantly look for unique cottage toys that the kids and adults can enjoy. This weekend the Outdoor & Adventure Travel Show, will be the place to find our new cottage toys for the spring and summer of 2015.
As a family we love travel, that is why our family hashtag is #GuthrieFamilyAdventure. I am looking forward to hear the guest speakers Corina Mansfield & Craig Bowker on the Adventure Stage. Mansfield and Bowker are adventure travel experts, they will be focusing on the Top 10 Halliburton Adventures during their session.
